What is Find an Object?


Find an Object is Collections Trust’s platform to support museums in transferring objects to a new home, either another museum or an organisation within the public domain. It is free to upload items to the listings, but you will need to register in order to do this.

How it works

Using this platform, museums are able to advertise objects they are looking to rehome and remove from their collections. Users are able to search for objects that are being offered by other museums and ask for objects they are looking for.
